Stone Without the Guilt
Modern buyers care about the carbon footprint. India's stone industry has undergone a massive green revolution.
1. Water Recycling
Cutting stone requires thousands of liters of water to cool the blades. Modern factories now use Filter Presses that recycle 95% of this water, turning the stone dust into dry cakes used for making bricks.
2. Solar Power
Rajasthan has abundant sun. Many processing units (including Ruvello partner factories) now run on 50-80% solar energy, drastically reducing the carbon cost of processing.
3. Zero Waste Policy
Small broken pieces (off-cuts) aren't dumped. They are converted into Mosaic Tiles, Crazy Paving, or crushed into aggregate for road construction.
